Children thrive when their teachers are actively involved and committed. River School teachers and caregivers are knowledgeable early childhood professionals whose educational philosophies and teaching styles are compatible with those of our program.
Throughout the year, we offer our teachers and caregivers many opportunities to further their educations and improve their teaching skills through monthly trainings and relevant workshops. We also encourage our staff to become involved in professional organizations and the local early childhood community.
Prior to employment, all staff members go through rigorous screenings conducted by the state, including a personal reference check, a health examination, and fingerprint and child abuse screenings.
